Unfortunately, there’s no way to avoid stress in this day and age, especially when you have to take care of your kids on top of everything else. However, it’s crucial to do your part in managing and relieving that stress; otherwise, it can seriously mess up your emotional, and even physical health.

That said, reserve a couple of hours every week just for yourself. For instance, you can have an hour of alone time every Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday. Ask your spouse, family member, and/or a friend to watch your kids for you during this time so that you could do whatever makes you happy and relaxed. It can be an engaging hobby or even just unwinding with a nice book or TV show. You need this to keep your sanity and have your family life thrive.
